The Difference Between Regular Beer And Premium Beer

Introduction

Alcoholic beverages are the most famous drink around the world. There are so many alcoholic drinks like wine, whiskey, rum and vodka but still some people choose beer over them. Because once you start drinking beer you experience unique and flavour. you may ask “ why do I like drinking beer ? “

Beer is well-known for having many different tastes. It gives a refreshing mood, due to its alcohol content , it releases dopamine and feels great. Cold beer makes you relax on summer days. Beer is also used as a social drink you can enjoy with your family and friends at pubs or parties because it’s less alcoholic than other drinks and allows for casual sipping without getting too drunk.

What is Regular Beer ?

Regular beer is generally made with chip ingredients to make it cheap and reach huge numbers of customers. It’s produced by mass production in breweries to serve high demand and easily available in any store. It generally looks light yellow, little head and watery taste as compared to other beers. Regular beer’s price is cheap, popular and easily available to local wine shops or bars.

What is premium beer

Most people see Premium beer as high quality beer because it’s made specially and enjoyed with accessories using fancy glass and careful pouring. Premium beer tastes better and it contains high quality ingredients and packaging unique like different bottles and labels .Premium beer buys premium beer for impressing, achieving milestones, and big celebration parties. Premium beer now is not just only drink, it’s become a part of every meal in the world now.Overall premium beer has now become part of different culture, food tradition, big parties. It provides high quality tests and feels a special experience that goes beyond just drinking.

Now, let’s look at the factors that make premium beer different from regular beer.

Manufacturing Production Levels

Regular beer brewers are famous for their price and quantity. They distribute in large areas and are available in mostly all shops. They mostly focus on their marketing rather than their beer quality. Premium beer brewers are smaller as compared to big beer companies. They produce only limited quantities so every beer gets special attention. They make unique beer using proper timing and  special ingredients. It’s given them unique and different tests as compared to regular beer.

Beer Test

Regular beer has limited taste, while premium beer has different varieties and flavors. Regular looks light yellow, watery and fixed flavor. Premium beer looks great, perfect head and different flavors. When you drink premium beer, you can notice sweet malt, bitter hops, and a strong smell. It tests smooth, sophisticated and more elegant that make you more enjoyable and you will appreciate it more.

Fermentation Timing

Premium beer takes longer fermentation process time which allows beer to be more natural, richer and more flavorful and high quality. In regular beer it takes a short time to save money and high production. After this short process beer does not  become strong and less flavorful. So fermentation timing is most important to make premium beer.

Brewing Ingredients

Beer is mainly made from hops, yeast, water and malts. Most premium beer brewers choose fresh and high quality ingredients. Some brewers don’t use hops but they use rice, corn or starch. These cheap beer ingredients are called adjuncts. This adjunct is available at chip price as compared to high quality malts. They sell the same price as compared to other beer brands but it is less flavorful and low wort as compared to using high quality malt.

Appearance

Regular beer looks light colored like yellow, gold and it looks so clear. It has less aroma and less smoothness. These beers are mostly less strong as compared to premium beer.it looks fizzy and creates a small head when it’s pouring.

Premium beer feels different because it looks  dark ,light or mixed. It has a more foam and perfect aroma while pouring. Premium beers are mostly strong with different flavors. In premium has different tests like fruity, bitter and sweet. Premium beer brewed with high quality Ingredients with proper techniques give them a different look than other beers.

Alcohol Percentage

Regular beer is common and drinks daily in India. It has an alcohol content of 3 to 5% ABV, which is lighter and less strong. Premium beers mostly have an alcohol content of about 4.5% to 5% ABV which means in 100ml premium beer 4.5m to 5ml pure alcohol make them stronger. Some premium beers in India also contain up to 8% alcohol.

Conclusion

Overall if you choose regular beer or premium beer it depends on your taste and occasion. Whether you want to drink for daily routine or you drink for special occasions. Regular beer is suitable  for everyday enjoyment, at an affordable price. You can also choose premium beer for special events or big parties. In the end, whatever you choose, understanding the difference between regular and  premium beer is important. It helps your knowledge, enjoy drinks and help you to choose the perfect beer for your occasion. Cheers to happy times and great beer!
